NIH-Funded Postdoctoral Position in Boston

Developmental Risk and Cultural Resilience Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School 

 

The Developmental Risk and Cultural Resilience Lab (PI: Cindy Liu, https://www.drcrlab.com/) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School is looking to hire a postdoctoral fellow to coordinate a 5-year longitudinal study (PIs: Cindy Liu & Tiffany Yip) focused on perceptions of racial discrimination among Chinese American adolescents, racial socialization processes that take place within parent-, peer-, and social media contexts, and impacts to mental health.  

 

The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for overseeing research activities including community engagement, data collection and processing, data analysis, and manuscript and grant writing, and the supervision of trainees. The ideal fellow will have a background within the fields of psychology, mental health, or public health, an interest in adolescent development, racial discrimination, and Asian American mental health, and a track record of publications in these areas. Prior experience with survey and observational data collection is preferred but not required. The position would involve working with collaborators from Fordham University, Wellesley College, Boston University, and the University of Notre Dame. 

 

The start date for this position is flexible (spring or summer of 2022). This is a full-time position with benefits.
